How to switch between Edit Mode and Preview

Log in at eninesites.com to see your site with a toolbar; click the pencil to edit and the eye to preview.

You need to be logged in with your site open.

How it works

When you log in at eninesites.com and open your site, you see it with a toolbar across the top. The Manage menu is on the left, and the pencil, eye, and refresh icons are on the right. Only you see this toolbar.

Visitors who go straight to your site's address, such as randomtext.e9sites.com, see only the website, with no toolbar.

Steps

  1. Log in at eninesites.com and open your site. The toolbar appears above it.
  2. Click the pencil icon on the right of the toolbar to turn on Edit Mode. The icon is highlighted, and each section shows as an editable card.
  3. Click the eye icon to switch to Preview. The editing cards go away so you can see your pages as they will look. The toolbar stays.

Good to know

To see exactly what visitors see, open your site's own address in a private window. Visitors never see the toolbar.
