How to add an item inside a section

Open the section's page, click the empty Title… card at the end of the list, and type a title to create a new item.

You need to be logged in, in Edit Mode on the section's page.

Steps

  1. Open the section's page. See How to open a section's page.
  2. Scroll to the empty card at the end of the list, which shows Title….
  3. Click it and type a title. The item is created, and a new empty Title… card appears below it.
  4. Optional: to add an image, click the picture icon at the left of the card. A picker opens with Search…, a + button to upload a file, and a grid of images already in your library. Pick one, or upload a new one.
  5. Optional: to add an icon, click the first icon at the left of the card.
  6. To write the item's text, click its menu button (the ≡ icon) and choose Content.

You should see

The new item as the last card in the list, with the title and image you chose.

Good to know

A new item gets an automatic Name, such as ttnmusgczfmnnn3r, shown in the breadcrumb under its card. The Name becomes part of the item's web address. To choose your own, open the item's menu, choose Values, and edit Name. See How to edit a section's details.

An item has a page of its own, with the same empty Title… card for adding items inside it.
