You need to be logged in with your site open.

Steps

  1. Click the pencil icon on the right of the toolbar to turn on Edit Mode.
  2. Click the menu button (the ≡ icon) on the top card, the one with your site's name, and choose General.
  3. Find Call-to-action buttons. Each button is one row with two boxes: Label, the text on the button, and Action, where it goes.
  4. In Action, type where the button should go: a page on your site such as /create-site/, a web address starting with https://, a mailto: link such as mailto:hello@example.com, or a tel: number such as tel:9209236463.
  5. Click + Add Button to add another. To remove a button, click the red trash icon at the end of its row.
  6. Click the eye icon (Preview) to see your buttons.

You should see

Your buttons on your homepage.

Good to know

Changes you make on the page save automatically, so there is no Save button to click.

Keep labels short and specific: "Get started" works better than "Click here to learn more".

Call-to-action buttons take a typed address. Social media links work differently: they come from your Links list. See How to add links, phone numbers, and emails.

Another way

  1. Click Manage in the toolbar, then choose Content.
  2. At the top of the list on the left, click your site's name. The General tab opens.
  3. Change the buttons, then click Save at the top right.
