How to set your hero image

In Edit Mode, click the picture box on the top card, then upload or choose the large image for your homepage.

You need to be logged in with your site open, and a landscape image or a video ready. You can upload it as you go.

Steps

  1. Click the pencil icon on the right of the toolbar to turn on Edit Mode.
  2. On the top card, the one with your site's name, click the picture box at the left of the title.
  3. In the picker, click + to upload a new file, or pick one already in your library.

You should see

Your image or video at the top of your homepage.

Good to know

The Hero Image is the large banner image or video displayed at the top of your homepage.

Changes you make on the page save automatically, so there is no Save button to click.

For best results

  • Use a 16:9 landscape image.
  • Avoid heavily compressed images.
  • Make sure any text on your page stays readable over the image.

Another way

  1. Click Manage in the toolbar, then choose Content.
  2. At the top of the list on the left, click your site's name, then open the Media tab.
  3. In the Hero Image field, choose a file from the dropdown, or click the + button beside it to upload a new one.
  4. Click Save at the top right.
