How to edit SEO for a page
Click Manage, then SEO, pick a page, and set the title and description search engines show for it.
You need to be logged in.
Steps
- Click Manage in the toolbar, then choose SEO. A list of your site's page addresses appears on the left.
- Click the page you want to change, such as /about. Its SEO fields appear on the right.
- Fill in the fields described below.
- Click Save, or Save & audit to save and then check your whole site.
You should see
Your new values saved against the page.
What each field does
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Page Name | The internal name for the page, usually matching its link |
| Page Title | The headline in the browser tab and in search results. Keep it under 60 characters |
| Description | A short summary shown under the title in search results. Aim for 100 to 160 characters |
| Keywords | Optional words or phrases, separated by commas. Fill it in only if you have specific phrases in mind |
